Abstract

The hospital has the risk of transmitting infectious diseases and there are also a number of hazards, one of which is in laundry installations, there are potential dangers that cause accidents and work-related diseases such as the linen washing process of patients suffering from various diseases. To prevent accidents and work-related illnesses, efforts to manage OSH are needed through the application of SMK3RS. With the creation of a safe and healthy workplace, it is hoped that the occurrence of work-related illnesses in laundry installations can be avoided.The objective of this study was to analyse how the application of the Occupational Safety And Health (OSH) at the hospital installation laundryIslamic Hospital Klaten in 2017-2018. This study was categorise into qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used are observations, interview and documentation..Theanalysis techniques used analysed descriptive with techniquesprecentage scale. The results revalved: Application of Occupational Safety and Health at Islamic Hospital Laundry Installations have achievement 50%. In detail, the achievement of each sub-variabels were: (1) Commitment to Occupational Safety and Health had achievement 67%, (2) Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health had achievement 100%, (3) Monitoring and Evaluation of Occupational Health and Safety had Achievement 33 %,
