Abstract

The background of this research is to investigate more about the implementation of extracurricular activities that occurred in SMA IT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo. This study aims to describe how the influence of scout extracurricular activities in SMA IT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo for discipline and improvement of student achievement. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive type. The subjects of this study include scout guides, students and girls who follow extracurricular scout activities. The results showed that the implementation of scout extracurricular activities in SMA IT NUr Hidayah Sukoharjo as a whole has gone well. From the school itself actually provides several supporting factors in the extracurricular scout implementation, including the existence of a real work program, the availability of sara and infrastructure, and schools provide funds.
