Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of regional regulations on street vendors in the market (a case study on street vendors of the Projo Ambarawa Market, Ambarawa District, Semarang Regency). This research uses qualitative descriptive. The data collection of this research uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The data analysis of this research uses interactive models through data collection, data reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results of the study show that: 1) Implementation of Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 3 of 2014 article 1 paragraph 8 concerning the arrangement and empowerment of street vendors in Projo Ambarawa Market can be carried out by communicating with street vendors by direct and indirect socialization, and pay attention to the resources and disposition of the bureaucracy of the market; 2) Constraint experienced is lack of awareness from street vendors to comply with the applicable rules; 3) The solution given is there must be strict sanctions on street vendors who do not obey the rules.
