Abstract

The Klaten Regency area is a strategic area which is a connecting link between Yogyakarta and Surakarta, but the city of Klaten is still lagging behind with the slowest growth compared to Yogyakarta City and Surakarta City, with words in Indonesian. Where are the objectives to be carried out in this study, namely: 1. Analyzing the growth of public facilities Service Centers in Klaten District from 2005-2015, analyzing the distribution of public facilities, and Analyzing regional influences in Klaten District in 2005 and 2015. To find out The service center is carried out using the Marshall Centrality Index method, where the method is carried out by calculating the amount of data using the number of existing facilities and using methods to determine the strength of the service center area. The results of service centers in Klaten District in 2005 and 2015 in North Klaten Subdistrict occupied the service center area using the Marshall Centrality Index method with a value of 150.23, where the growth of facilities was generally only small at 5.8%, with an occasional elongated pattern that shown by trade and services, as well as the strength of interaction between regions using the District reference which is the center of service which shows that the strength of the relationship between the North Klaten District and Ngawen is very strong, reaching the highest peak of 356,729,849.5.
