Abstract
Voluntary Counseling and Testing VCT) is a two-way coaching that aims to prevent HIV transmission, provide moral support, information and other support to people with HIV / AIDS in the family, and their environment. HIV transmission currently does not only occur in highrisk groups, but a number of housewives have been exposed to HIV so housewives need to do VCT tests. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and family support with the attitude of pregnant women to use voluntary HIV / AIDS tests in Boyolali District. This type of research uses observational research with cross sectional design. The population and sample in this study were all pregnant women in Boyolali I Health Center, Musuk I Health Center, 2 Banyudono I Health Center, Ampel I Health Center, Nogosari Health Center, Kemusu II Health Center, and Karanggede Health Center which were 186 people. The collection technique uses a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between knowledge about HIV / AIDS (CC = 0.491; p = 0.000) and family support (CC = 0.288; p = 0.000) with the attitude to use HIV / AIDS tests voluntarily.
