Abstract
Surakarta City in 2012 found 24 HIV cases, in 2013 there were 64 HIV cases, in 2014 there were 75 HIV cases. The HIV case in Surakarta is quite high and the VCT clinic is a voluntary HIV counseling and testing service aimed at helping prevent, care and treat HIV / AIDS sufferers. Dr.Moewardi Hospital became one of the hospitals that served VCT clinics in 2017 visiting VCT clinics in Dr.Moewardi General Hospital as many as 2171. This study aimed to analyze the relationship of health personnel support to the use of VCT clinic services in Dr. RSUD. Moewardi. This type of research is analytical observational with a Purposive sampling design. The study population was outpatients 13,612 using Purposive sampling. The samples taken were 120 using the Chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the support of health workers (P = 0.036) and the utilization of VCT clinic services at Dr. Moewardi. The conclusions of this study were that respondents who did not use the majority of VCT clinic services received as low as 40 health workers (62.5%) and respondents who used VCT clinic services received high support from 29 health workers (51.8% ).
