Abstract
This study examines the influence of GDP, education level and unemployment on poverty in Central Java Province, in this case for all districts / cities in Central Java in 2001-2015. The purpose of this study is expected to be able to analyze how the influence of GDP, education level and unemployment on poverty in Central Java Province, so that it can be used as a basis for determining policy in overcoming poverty in Central Java. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). While the analytical method used in this study is the data panel method. The test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) show that the Adjusted R-Square value is 0.762372, meaning that 76.23% of the variation in poverty levels can be explained by education variables, unemployment rates and per capita GRDP. While the remaining 23.77% is explained by other variables not included in the model. the results of the above t test show the probability level of education level (EDUC) of 0.0182 (<0.05), the EDUC variable has a significant effect on poverty. The results showed that GDP, Unemployment and education level had a significant effect on poverty levels in Central Java in 2001-2015. The probability value of the unemployment rate (UNEMP) is 0.0000 (<0.01) then the UNEMP variable has a significant effect on poverty. The probability value of GDP per capita (Y) is 0.0000 (<0.01) then the variable (Y) has a significant effect on poverty.
