Abstract

Dian Astuti Sulistyo, J310140146 RELATION BETWEEN LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND ATTENDANCERATE OF CUF’S OF MOTHER TO POSYANDU WITH : NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF CHILDREN UNDER FIVE IN WORKING REGION OF PUSKESMAS GROGOL SUKOHARJO Background: Public serve is an important thing for mother of children under five and toodler. Govermet try to create public well being to reach optimal health degree. Nowdays, there are much mother that haven’t realize the importance of Posyandu for growth and development of their toodler. But citizen’s awareness about toodler with poor nutritional status or over nutritional status. Objective : Analyze the relation between level of education atrendance of children underfive’s mother to Posyandu with nutritional status of children under five in working region of Puskesmas Grogol Sukoharjo Research Method : The research is an observational with cross sectional. Pesearch’s subject as much as 61 respondents. Sample were choosen by simple random sampling system. Data of mother’s education obtained from kuesioner and data of mother’s attendance obtained from list of attendees at posyandu as long as one year. Data analyzed by Chi-Square test. Result:Result of relation test between level of education with nutritional status show p value= 0,000 (p<0,05). Value OR from the above results indicate that mothers with low education levels are more at risk of having babies with less nutritional status of 12 times compared with mothers who have a high level of education (OR = 12.38), while result of relation test between attendance rate with nutritional status p value= 0,029 (p<0,05). Value OR of the results of the above stated that mother with attendance rates to the posyandu inactive more risky has a toddler with nutritional status less 2.5 times compared to a mother with an active level of presence (OR = 2,569). Conclutions : There are relation between level of education and atrendante rate of mother to posyandu with nutritional status of children underfive.
