Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parenting parents on cognitive development in group B children in kindergartens in Simo Subdistrict. The approach of this research is quantitative research. This type of research used descriptive correlation. Population of 301 kindergarten parents and children in Simo Subdistrict. A sample of 75. was taken by a purposive proportional random sampling step. Data collection techniques influence parenting and cognitive development data using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that there is no effect of parenting on the development of cognition in children
