Abstract
This study aims to describe: 1) Internalization of advancing Islamic education through the Tahfidzul Qur'an program in Muhammadiyah Ibtidaiyah Madrasas, 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors in the internalization of advancing Islamic education through the Tahfidzul Qur'an program in Muhammadiyah Ibtidaiyah Madrasas, 3) Solutions to overcome barriers to internalization of Islamic education are advancing through the Tahfidzul Qur'an program in the Muhammadiyah Ibtidaiyah Madrasa. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Research data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data is by source and technique triangulation, 2 namely the Principal, Tahfidz Coordinator and Class Teacher. The results of the study show that: 1) schools that apply the concept of Islamic education are progressing through the Tahfidzul Qur'an program namely: The aspects contained in the concept are three, namely Humanization, Liberation and Transcendence. 2) Factors supporting the concept are: The environment of the community is very supportive, the school always innovates, the guardians of the students actively participate, adequate facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors of the concept are: Too many students, the vision and mission of the school have not been updated with the concept of progress, teachers and education staff are very few, there are guardians who care less about children's development. 3) The solution to overcome these inhibiting factors is to reformulate the Vision and Mission of a progressive Islamic paradigm with Muhammadiyah branch leaders, increase the number of teachers and education staff, innovate so that the concept of progressive Islamic education can be applied, condition students in learning so that the atmosphere is conducive.
