Abstract
Abstract Many found to be an ineffective activity done workers such as chatting, eating and drinking, and walk on process. The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis on the movement of workers which is done during the process of taking place. Production activities involved are: the elements of the movement that carried out the workers at the work station 1 followed by the elements of the movement station 2 and ends on finishing process by checkman in check desk. Three such station perform work in parallel during 8 hours work Methods Time Measurement helps in doing analysis in order to obtain the movement elements disappear as well as being able to reduce the time the production process. The results obtained with the processed some movement can be eliminated such as walking, repeated redirection, and some elements of the movement on checkman. Whereas some other movement elements was only able to do a reduction in capacity as the focus of the eye decreases, the number of steps, and load range. The end result of this processed i.e. able to reduce processing time from the time of the original 300 seconds to 214 seconds or 28% and was able to reduce the number of workers.
