Abstract

A 210130151.DIFFICULTY OF STUDENTS IN DOING THE PROBLEM OF SEMESTER EXAMINATION ACCOUNTING SYSTEM REVIEWED FROM COGNITIVE ASPECTS AND LEARNING INDEPENDENCE IN SUDI PROGRAM STUDENTS ACCOUNTING EDUCATION MUHAMMADIYAH UNIVERSITY SURAKARTA 2014/2015. Essay.Accounting Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of: 1) Cognitive Aspects on the difficulty of working on the problem. 2) Learning independence from the difficulty of working on questions. 3) Cognitive Aspects and independence of learning towards difficulties in working on questions. This research includes the type of research using associative quantitative methods. Quantitative approach and analysis used are statistical analysis. The population of this study were all accounting education students of the Teaching and Education Faculty of Surakarta Muhammadiyah University 2014/2015 class of 174 students with a sample of 114 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling method of lottery. Data collection techniques using questionnaire techniques. Data analysis techniques used were multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, R2 test, and relative contribution and effective contribution. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, it was obtained that the Cognitive Aspect count was 3.114 and the Learning Independence variable was 9.155 while the table was 1.982, so there was a significant influence between cognitive aspects and Learning Independence on individual Learning Difficulties. The results of the F test analysis obtained Fcount = 438.222> Ftable = 3.081, then there is a significant influence of Cognitive Aspects (X1), and Learning Independence (X2) on Learning Difficulties.
