Abstract
Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood. Adolescents are very at risk for their health where there are changes in body shape, body size, body function and psychology. The cause of nutritional problems in adolescents is a lack of food consumption, infectious diseases and lifestyle factors. Lifestyle in adolescents affects their eating habits. These eating habits will affect nutritional status. Based on the preliminary survey of female nutrition status 24% underweight, 44% normal, 18% overweight and 14% obese. Based on the result of the survey, 38% of the students stated they were bored with menu presented by Pesma, and 27% stated that menu was not varied. This study aims to determine the correlation between adequacy of nutrition substance and nutritional status in female students of Pesma KH Mas Mansyur. This is an observation with Cross-sectional approach. Research subject of this study was 33 female students of Pesma KH Mas Mansyur were recruited using Simple Random Sampling technique. Food intake data obtained using semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire compared with AKGX100%. Nutritional status is obtained from measurements of body weight and height. Data was analysed with pearson product momen test. Based on energy intake 82% of respondents have a good intake and 18% have a less intake. Based on protein intake 52% of respondents have a good intake, 3% of respondents have less intake, and 45% have over intake. Based on fat intake 70% of respondents have a good intake and 30% of respondents have less intake. Based on carbohydrate intake 67% of respondents have a good intake 27% respondents have less intake, and 6% have over intake. There is a correlation between adequacy of energy and nutritional status with a value of p=0,002. There is a correlation between adequacy of protein and nutritional status with a value of p=0,011. There is a correlation between adequacy of fat and nutritional status with a value of p=0,041. There is a correlation between adequacy of carbohydrate and nutritional status with a value of p=0,008. There is a correlation between adequacy of nutrition substance and nutritional status in female students of Pesma KH Mas Mansyur.
