Abstract

Economic growth is an indicator commonly used to see the success of the development of a region. The purpose of this study is to analyze government spending, population and investment in economic growth in the Surakarta Residency. The data used are secondary data, which are in the form of time series from the period 2012-2016 which are sourced from BPS-specific publications. Analysis using the panel data method. The results of the study show that the analysis test of government expenditure variables has a significant effect on economic growth. While the investment and population variables did not have a significant effect on economic growth.
