Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to recognize hijaiyah letter through flash card media. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two stages, namely cycle I and cycle II. The subjects in this study were group A students at Rumah Pelangi Colomadu Karanganyar kindergarten in the academic year 2018/2019. The number of children who the subjects of the study were 15 children. Crude on the ability to recognize Hijaiyah letter in children is collected through observation and documentation methods. This research use triangulation method by searching data from various data sources. Before the implementation of the cycle ,the student result obtained 35,83% in the cycle, 66,10% in the cycle I, and the second cycle reached 82.218%. The conclusion of this study is that through flash card media can improve the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters.
