Abstract

Wonosobo Regency was required to implement compulsory school to the high school level. The regulation concluded that the availability of high school education buildings is very important in compulsory school. The availability of educational buildings is expected to increase school participation. Based on these, in this study it is necessary to analyze the relationship of the high school availability education buildings to the Gross Enrollment Rate. The purpose of research are: (1) Evaluate the distribution of Senior High School educational buildings availability. (2) Assessing the Gross Enrollment Rate (APK).(3) Analyzing correlation of Senior High School educational buildings availability with the Gross Enrollment Rate in Wonosobo Regency 2017. This research method used secondary and primary data processing with field surveys. Data analysis method used Chi-Square test to determine the relationship between the two variables The results obtained are: (1.A) The results of high school education building evaluation in Wonosobo District according to the number of supporting population shows that there is only 1 of the 15 sub-districts which their availability is fulfilled. (1.B) The results of high school education building evaluation in Wonosobo District according to the location showed that 3 of the 15 sub-districts were not fulfilled. (2) the Gross Enrollment Rate of high school in Wonosobo Regency 2017 shows that there are only 1 out of 15 districts that have complete achievements, namely Wonosobo District (3.A) The availability of educational buildings based in the population with the Gross Enrollment Rate of high school in Wonosobo Regency 2017 shows a significance value of 0.00, which means there are relationship both of these variables (3.B) The availability of educational buildings based on location and the Gross Enrollment Rate of high school in Wonosobo Regency 2017 shows a significance value of 0.605 which means there is no relationships that affect both of these variables.
