Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze how the implementation of law enforcement against criminal acts of misuse of residence permits by foreign nationals. This research is a type of empirical juridical research. This research was carried out at the Surakarta Class I Immigration Office. The data source used is primary data. Data analysis techniques use qualitative analysis. The results showed that: law enforcement against immigration crimes carried out by the Surakarta Class I Immigration Office was carried out with two actions, including immigration administrative actions and pro justisia actions. The inhibiting factor faced in law enforcement of this crime is the lack of immigration PPNS in monitoring and prosecuting foreigners as well as the lack of cooperation from the community including the guarantor in law enforcement of criminal acts of misuse of residence permits.
