Abstract

This study entitled “Effect of Components of the Human Development Index on the Economic Growth of North Sulawesi Province Regency and City in 2011-2016”. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the influence of Components from the HDI yaitu Health Index (HI), Education Index (EI) and Purchasing Power Parity Index (PPI) on the Economic Growth of North Sulawesi Province Regency and City. This research was sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (CSA). The analysis method used is Panel Data Regression Analysis. Based on the results of the Panel Data Regression test shows that the Health Index variables have a positive and significant effect on Economic Growth, Education Index variables have a negative and insignificant effect on Economic Growth, and the Purchasing Power Parity Index variable has a positive and significant effect on Economic Growth.
