Abstract
When children can develop well, children can engage in activities freely, one of which is to make it easier for children to engage in activities is to have a good balance. The balance of one of the important points in activities such as walking and maintaining the center of gravity. If the balance is disrupted, then you cannot do good activities. One of the causes of disturbed balance is an abnormal body mass index and Flat Foot. Children who fall easily due to low maintaining balance, low maintaining balance may be because the body mass index in children is not normal or can be due to the shape of the child's foot forming a flat foot. To find out whether or not there is a relationship between body mass index and flat foot with balance in teaching solo students. This study is observational. The data obtained will be tested for normality with Kolmogrov-Smirnov if p> 0.05 the data will be normally distributed, with normal data will be tested by the Pearson product moment correlation test. With the results of the r value that is getting closer to the value 1, the stronger the relationship. The results of the pearson correlation with a value of -0.335 for the body mass index with a balance that has a negative relationship and -0.778 for flat foot with a balance that has a negative relationship. There is a negative relationship between body mass index and flat foot with balance.
