Abstract

The case of pornography is like an iceberg in the sea, it doesn't look big but actually is a big problem. The issue of pornography can damage the nation's young generation which results in a decline in norms in society. The impact of the dangers of pornography is also very broad, such as harassment, rape, sexual abuse. The problem in this study is the effort to overcome pornography crime by police officers. The approach method used in this research is empirical juridical. There are several factors that cause pornography crime such as fad, economy, persuasion, lack of education, sexual disorder, weakness of faith and morals, environment, globalization, jealousy, revenge and heartache, social media, weak legal supervision. In the effort to overcome pornography is divided into preventive and repressive efforts. In the effort to overcome the obstacles also found by the Semarang Police which caused efforts to overcome pornography crime did not go as it should.
