Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of legal protection related to the rights of patients of BPJS health participants in obtaining health services and knowing the constraints and efforts of the hospital in implementing health services BPJS Health in PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta hospital. The research method used is a descriptive empirical juridical method where the research data was obtained directly through interviews with the hospital's finance director who supervised the implementation of health services in PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta hospital. The background of this study is that many people do not understand that they have rights The regulation stipulated in the legislation shows that PKU Muhammadiyah hospital has implemented most health service programs in accordance with Health BPJS Regulation No. 1 of 2014 and Health Minister Regulation No. 71 of 2014 but in its implementation there are still obstacles such as public awareness regarding the flow BPJS health service procedures and lack of facilities and infrastructure in the hospital which caused the services provided to patients BPJS Health participants to be not optimal. PKU Muhammadiyah hospital made an effort to overcome This problem is like installing a chart that can be seen by patients of BPJS Health participants and referring to other hospitals that have the facilities and infrastructure needed by patients in accordance with the referral system regulated by law. With these efforts it is expected that the implementation of health services for health BPJS participants can be provided optimally.
