Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of economic growth, population, inflation and education on the level of poverty in the province of Central Java in 2002-2017. The data used are GRDP growth rate, population, inflation and education. The analysis model used in this study is multiple regression with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and using time series data. Data is obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).The results show that the population and education have a negative and significant influence on the level of poverty in the province of Central Java during the period 2002-2017. While economic growth and inflation do not show a significant effect on poverty.
