Abstract

The wall is a solid structure that limits and sometimes protects an area. Generally, walls constrain a building and support other structures, limit the space in buildings into rooms, or protect a room in the open. And in line with the development of the more modern era, it creates innovative wall-making with the use of alternative materials are easily obtained. So that this study conducted a review of compressive strength and flexure of lightweight concrete panel walls of tile fraction with bamboo reinforcement. Where coarse aggregate tiles are broken with an average dimension of 2 cm and reinforcement of bamboo with dimensions (0.2 x 2) cm2 woven with 15 cm woven cloth. With the design mix design using f.a.s 0.45 and wall pane testing done after 28 days, because at the age of 28 days the concrete has reached the optimum strength. This study uses a specimen in the form of a concrete cylinder with dimensions (15 x 30) cm, totaling 3 samples, and an average compressive strength of 5.83 MPa and an average concrete density of 1.709 gr / m3. As well as panel wall specimens with dimensions of 100 cm long, 50 cm wide, and 7 cm thick as many as 15 samples, 5 samples without bamboo reinforcement, divided into 2 samples for compressive strength test, 3 samples for bending test and 10 samples with bamboo reinforcement. divided into 5 samples for compressive strength test, and 5 samples for flexural strength test. The compressive strength obtained an average compressive strength of 2.571 MPa (without bamboo reinforcement) and 2.751 MPa (with bamboo reinforcement), then the addition of the compressive strength of the panel wall was 7 %. Then for flexural strength test, the average flexural strength was 1,556 MPa (without reinforcement of bamboo) and 2,256 MPa (with bamboo reinforcement), so the panel wall flexural strength was added by 45%.
