Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Local Genuine Revenues, Public Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds, and Capital Expenditures on The Human Development Index in District/City Governments in East Java Province in 2014-2016. The research method in this study uses saturated sampling method. The population in this study were all Regencies/Cities in East Java Province in 2014-2016. The sample in this study amounted to 114 Districts/Cities. This research data uses secondary data. Data on Local Genuine Revenue, Public Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds and Capital Expenditures are contained in the 2014-2016 Budget Realization Report comes from the Directorate General of Financial Balance (www.djpk.kemenkeu.go.id). While The Human Development Index data is sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (www.jatim.bps.go.id). The analysis uses the classical assumption test and then tested the hypothesis with multiple linear regression method with the determination coefficient test, F test, and t test. The results of the study show that the variables of Local Genuine Revenues, Public Allocation Funds, and Capital Expenditure affect The Human Development Index. Meanwhile, the variable Special Allocation Fund does not affect The Human Development Index.
