Abstract
This study aims to determine the process of granting Micro People's Business Credit and the impact of providing People's Business Credit in advancing micro business productivity, as well as to find out legal efforts against debtors who experience non-performing loans. The research method uses an empirical (non-doctrinal) juridical approach method with the nature of descriptive research. Data sources include primary data is interviews and secondary data including primary and secondary legal sources. Data collection methods with library studies and interviews. Data analysis techniques use qualitative. The results of the research show that the credit granting process still refers to the mechanism in accordance with the applicable regulations and still prioritizes the principle of prudence. Public business credit can help advance business productivity of debtors who use People's Business Credit in accordance with the purpose of the People's Business Credit program. Legal efforts in dealing with non-performing loans are to carry out continuous billing with the Account Office to come home to the debtor to discuss in a family or persuasive manner, through letters or written billing and billing through the team.
