Abstract

This research is conducted by the authors to know the stage of the process of diversion process conducted by the Police of the Republic of Indonesia Resort Surakarta City especially in the case of theft committed by the Child, and also what is the reason for the Police in doing diversion. The research method used by the author is the method of legal juridical empirical research. Based on the results of research on the procedure of implementing restorative justice with a model of diversion by Police Investigators who are guided by Law Number 11 Year 2012 on Child Criminal Justice System and Government Regulation Year 65 concerning Guideline for Diversity Implementation and Adolescent Approach 12 Years (twelve). The conclusion of this research is in accordance with the situation or fact in the field with the applicable Law Rules.
