Abstract
White oyster mushroom is a kind of wood mushroom which has good prospect for breeding as food sources. White oyster mushroom has high nutrition such as carbohydrate, calcium, protein, iron, fat, potassium and phosphorus. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and productivity of white oyster mushrooms on the media composition of mixed dried banana leaves and different coconut fiber. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research method used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) one factorial with the composition of the media of banana leaves and coconut fiber namely B1 (100% dried banana leaves), B2 (75% dried banana leaves + 25% coconut fiber), B3 (50% dried banana leaves + 50% coconut fiber, B4 (25% dried banana leaves + 75% coconut fiber), B5 (100% coconut fiber). The results showed that the B1 treatment (100% dry banana leaves) was a media that had the fastest growth time of oyster mushrooms and the highest productivity value compared to 4 other treatments. The growth of oyster mushrooms in the B1 treatment had a 26 HSI mycelium spreading time, when the 49 HSI pin head appeared, and the harvest time was 53,5 HIS. The productivity of white oyster mushrooms in B1 treatment had a fresh body weight of 60 g, the diameter of the fruit hood was 7.55 cm and the number of fruit bodies was 11.5.
