Abstract

Background: Development is the increase in ability in complex body structures and functions in a regular and predictable pattern, as a result of the maturation process. The process involves the process of differentiation of body cells, tissues, organs and organ systems that develop in such a way that each can fulfill its function. This includes emotional development, intellectual and behavioral as a result of interaction with the environment. As for the achievement of optimal growth and development depends on the biological potential. Research Objectives: To analyze the relationship between family intimacy level and family type with language development in children in Bangak village, Banyudono sub-district, Boyolali district. Research Method: Analytical observational with cross sectional approach, sample is children and their families who reside in Bangak village, Banyudono sub-district, Boyolali district, aged 0-5 years. Sample selection by cluster random sampling. Results: The results of the chi square test in the table above is known in intimate family intimacy, there is a development of language that falls into the normal category more than the suspect category, while the intimacy of the less intimate family is known to be the development of suspects more than normal in children. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of family intimacy and family type with language development in children in Bangak village, Banyudono sub-district, Boyolali district. The value of family intimacy is good so the development of language in children is in accordance with their age (normal).
