Abstract

This study aims to describe the behavior of the consumerist farmers harvest time Kingdom of tobacco in the village of Gilingsari, various root problems that drive, and the impact caused. This research uses qualitative types, data collection with sources and triangulation techniques. Interactive model of applying data analysis through data collection, data reduction, the presentation of data, and the withdrawal of the conclusion. The results showed that the behavior of the consumer tobacco farmers harvest time Kingdom based on the findings of the researchers of the existence of the tendency of buying too much stuff, the less useful purchases, buying products over the high price consideration, and the lack of awareness to saving. The consumer behavior is driven by the presence of the increase in the selling price of tobacco of the year 2017. The root of the problem based on the findings of researchers also arise because farmers can't control his appetites to consume a goods, tend to have no financial planning ahead, just keep the appearance and prestige, trend following mode, and assume buying expensive price can increase confidence. Incurred i.e. purchased items are not useful or mubadzir, the absence of capital of planting tobacco in the coming year so that farmers have to borrow money to banks, and do not have a stash of money.
