Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with the tittle is Subjective Well Being pada Sukarelawan Pengajar di Solo Mengajar. This research is based on the problem of the lack of education which can be reached by the society. The purpose of this research is to understand and describe subjectitive well being of sukarelawan pengajar in Solo Mengajar. The researcher used phenomenology qualitative as the method for this research. The researcher used interview and observation to collect the data. The respondents for this research are 5 teaching volunteers in Solo Mengajar who the researcher got from using purposive sampling technique. The result of this research is the meaning of welfare on teaching volunteers in Solo Mengajar which is gained when their needs is fulfilled. The needs of teaching volunteers in Solo Mengajar are fullfilled when they make other people happy dan the stimulation of the happiness is gained when they socialize dan share their knowledge to the students. The factors which influence subjective well being of teaching volunteers in Solo Mengajar are the existance of positive respond from the students and experience from teaching in Solo Mengajar. The conclusion of this research is subjective well being of teaching volunteers in Solo Mengajar in the form of happiness of becoming human being who can be helpful for the others even if they don’t get salary from teaching activity.
