Abstract

Abstract PT. Legiri Makmur Sentosa is an effort in the field of animal husbandry / fattening beef cattle, with the fattening period of 3-4 months. Value added calculations are used to determine the value added value of each supply chain. While relative efficiency calculations are used to evaluate the performance of concentrate suppliers, so it can be a reference company in making the purchase of concentrate feed. The result of this research are: there are 3 flow in supply chain of beef cattle (PT Legiri Makmur Sentosa) such as product flow from upstream to downstream that is from cow seed supplier to meat consumer, financial flow flows from downstream to from consumer and most recently in the supplier of seeds, then the flow of information flows from upstream to downstream and downstream to discuss about the information about the cow. The added value gained from breeders, large cattle traders, beef traders, and market traders in sequence of Rp. 19675,64; 2347,41; 3300,43; 9953.33. Breeders get the highest value added Rp. 19675,64, and live cow traders earned the smallest added value of Rp. 2347,41, because the big cow traders live the role of the network only as an intermediary between breeder and butcher. The results of the calculation of the relative efficiency of the five concentrate suppliers ie suppliers A, B, C, D, E sequentially are 1, 1, 0.916, 1, 0.801 obtained 2 suppliers with inefficient performance of suppliers C and E, to achieve efficient performance of such suppliers need to make improvements that reduce prices and speed up the delivery process.
