Abstract

ABSTRACK Based on data from the Sragen Health Office, anemia in young women aged 10-14 was 1211 (3,5%) teenagers, and aged 15-19 years were 846 (2,4%) teenagers from 34.608 adolescents. Therefore adolescents need a health education about Tablet Add Blood and Anemia. Effetiv media tahat can lead to interest in student learning is comic media. This study aims to analyze the effect of health education with comic media on the knowledge and attitude of female students about Tablet Add Blood and Anemia at Junior High School Students In Sragen. This research type is Quasi Experimental with Pretest-Posttest with Control Group design. The population of the study were VIII and IX as many as 294 female students. Selection of sample using Proportional Sampling, divided into 2 groups, that is experiment group (45 students) and control group (45 students) with total sample 90 student. The statistical test using Paired t-test showed that there was a difference of mean score of knowledge (p = 0,000) and attitude (p = 0,000) in the experimental group after treatment. There was a difference in mean score of knowledge (p = 0,000) and attitude (p = 0,000) in the control group. Independent t-test results showed that there were differences in the effect of health education on Tablet Added Blood and anemia between lectures with comic media and lectures without media to knowledge (p = 0,000) and attitude (p = 0,041).
