Abstract

Cervical Root Syndrome is a state of emphasis on the nerve roots of the neck region. The resulting pain radiates from the neck area to the fingers according to the distribution of the excited nerve and the limited range of motion of the joints which can decrease the functional activity. To determine the management of cervical roots syndrome physiotherapy in reducing pain and increasing the scope of joint motion using Trans Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Hold Relax Therapy. After therapy 6 times, the result of decrease of silent pain T0: 2 to T6: 1, pain in press T0: 3 to T6: 1, pain in motion T0: 4 to T6: 2., increase in range of motion joints (LGS) cervical on flexion motion T0: 60 ° to T6: 80 °, Extension T0: 30 ° to T6: 50 °, Rotation Dextra T0: 65 ° to T6: 80 °, Sinusra Rotation T0: 65 ° to T6: 80 °, Lateral Flexible Dextra T0: 25 ° to T6: 45 °, Lateral Flexion Sin T0: 30 ° to T6: 45 °. Giving modalities of Trans Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Hold Relax Therapy can reduce pain and increase joint motion (LGS). Keywords : Cervical Root Syndrome, Trans Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Hold Relax Therapy.
