Abstract

The study aims to describe processes, constraints or obstacles, and solutions in the implementation of state defense values in scouting education in the unit of Wira Kartika Kodim 0710/Pekalongan. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of data using source triangulation and technique. Data analysis used by the flow model includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of state defense values in scouting education in the unit of Wira Kartika Kodim 0710 / Pekalongan through planting the values of tri satya and dasa darma values, applying korve schedules or guarding the porch, and recognizing the surrounding environment, Indonesian cultural arts performances and formation art and culture units, ceremonial activities and activities sing the struggle song, did fight and maintain the diversity of the nation, gotong royong in community and social activities TMMD (TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa), using product of Indonesia, following the activities unit, comply with regulations, giving under-standing of how to vote in elections, fostering discipline and responsibility, get-ting along well with the environment , trusting and devoted to God Almighty, not being lavish and extravagant, being a pioneer of unifying the nation and actively socializing the values of Pancasila, developing tolerance and caring for others, weekends Pancasila, participates in regional development and provides education for the defense of the country to the public, preliminary education in the country in the area of Kartika, activities to help neighbors and engage in environmental supervision, help citizens affected by natural disasters, and form a sincere spirit , foster self-confidence and high social sensitivity , carrying out activities or spiritual cleansing-, practice begins with praying, joint sports activities and regular physical exercise, asking members' health conditions and having regular breaks. Constraints faced are related to facilities and infrastructure, recruitment and attendance of members, and difficulties in transferring abstract state defense. The solution to the obstacles in the process of implementing state defense values includes managing the existing facilities and infrastructure to the maximum extent possible, displaying fun and interesting activities, and working with other institutions related to the transfer of more applicable state defense.
