Abstract

Irony Speech Acts on PKI Hantu Atau Nyata Discourse in TV One's Indonesian Lawyers Club Talkshow and Its Implications for Indonesian Language Learning in High School. Skripsi, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. July 2018. This study has three objectives. (1) Form of irony speech acts on PKI Hantu Atau Nyata discourse on Indonesian Lawyers Club TV One talkshow. (2) The purpose of irony speech acts on the PKI Hantu Atau Nyata discourse in the Indonesian Lawyers Club TV One talkshow. (3) Strategy to act irony on PKI Hantu Atau Nyata discourse in Indonesia Lawyers Club TV One talkshow, and (4) Implications of using irony speech acts on Indonesian language learning in high school. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection method applied in this study is a method of reading with note-taking techniques. The analysis of this research data uses the equivalent method because as a determinant of the fact that is appointed or referred to by language or referent language, language forming organs or speech organs, other languages or other languages, recorders and language preservatives, as well as people who become partners . The results of the research that has been carried out there are 60 data from 3 video PKI Hantu Atau Nyata uploads by identifying the form of irony speech acts that contain innuendo over 13 statements, statements downplaying 26 meanings, and confusing feelings 21 speech delivered by the presenter and resource person at the Indonesian event Lawyers Club that has the intent and purpose so that speech partners can understand speech, there are 29 strategies of direct speech acting and 31 indirect speech acts strategies.
