Abstract

This paper describes the criminal law that regulates acts of violence against children. This study uses a normative juridical method with a comparative approach that is comparing Indonesian criminal law with Malaysian criminal law, this shows that the criminal law regulations for acts of violence against children, Indonesia are regulated in Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection and in Malaysia are regulated in the Deed -kanak in 2001. By examining the main problems of criminal law, namely acts and criminal sanctions relating to the formulation of acts of violence against children. The purpose of this comparison is to find out the differences and similarities, weaknesses and advantages and problems that occur between Indonesia and Malaysia.
