Abstract

The level of market service is the extent to which the market can provide comfort and satisfaction to conduct buying and selling activities both in terms of facilities, cleanliness, access to markets, and the most emphasized is how far the market can serve buyers, traders and the extent to which goods obtained for sale in the market in this case is Sidodadi Kleco Traditional Market. This study has 2 objectives that is, 1. Knowing the characteristics of Sidodadi Market kleco district Laweyan city Surakarta, 2. Knowing the level of service (origin of traders, origin of merchandise, origin of buyers) Sidodadi Kleco Market, Laweyan Sub-district, Surakarta City. The data used in this research is primary data and secondary data. Methods This study used survey methods, by providing questionnaires / questions by coming directly to the place of research to obtain information directly as well as interviews to traders and buyers. Sampling method in this research is using non probability sampling, using Quota Sampling technique. The method used to analyze the data is by using frequency tables, cross tables and using an analysis of spatial approach. The results of this study indicate that the location of Traditional Market Sidodadi Kleco has a strategic location and has an appeal to other areas. The Origin of Traders is dominated by Laweyan sub-district with the highest percentage with 36.4%, followed by Baki District with 25% percentage, Kartosuro District 20.4% and 18.2% for Colomadu District. Origin of merchandise dominated by the city of Surakarta with the percentage of 61.2%, Boyolali District with the percentage of 16%, Sukoharjo 16%, Karang Anyar Regency with the percentage of 5%, and the last is the city of Semarang which amounted to 2.3%. The most dominant buyer origin is from Kecamatan Kartosuro with the percentage of 75%. subsequently from Laweyan Sub-district, which amounted to 18.2%, and the last was from District Colomadu which has 6.8% percentage.
