Abstract

Abstract The undercarriage is the lower component of the bulldozer unit, where it serves for moving the unit to move from one place to another. Undercarriage is also useful to support and extend the unit ground load, together with the steering system and brake direct the unit to move forward, backward, right, and left. The purpose of this study is to analyze the damage undercarriage and how to repair and maintenance it so that the company does not suffer losses very much. Result of analysis, Total cost that can be reduced due to improper damage on undercarriage component of 32,31% consisting of spare part loss (28,5%), man power cost (0,72%) and non operation unit (2 , 94%).Efforts to minimize the damage is maintenance programs that include the program periodic inspection, periodic cleaning and washing Key Word : Bulldozer, Undercarriage, RCM, carrier roller, track roller double flange, track roller single flange.
