Abstract

In modern times today renewable energy is needed for humans to support daily needs, solar panels are one of the technologies used. The purpose of this research is to make design of meat grinder machine with solar energy. Research started from the design of the tool, the manufacture of meat grinding machine and the installation of components such as solar panels, solar charger controller, Accu and DC motors. Then checked the components that have been assembled in order to work optimally in the process of meat milling. The electrical energy generated by solar panels is used as the primary source to drive the meat grinder machine. Experiment using energy source from solar panels, then the process of grinding chicken meat takes 2.94 minutes of current 0.65 A with a voltage of 32.7 V with a rotation speed of 617.85 Rpm. Beef takes 2.00 minutes of current 1.37 A with a voltage of 31.9 V with a spin speed of 660.38 Rpm. Trial using Accu chicken milling process takes 3.84 minutes of current 0.66 A with a voltage of 29.8 V rotation speed 590.62 Rpm. Beef takes 3.30 minutes of current 1.26 A with a voltage of 29.4 V with a rotational speed 552.89 Rpm. In this study it was concluded that to grind chicken and cow meat more effectively use enegri source which come from solar panel.
