Abstract

There are many benefits of the good managerial system in the Hospital, One of the benefits is the establishment of a good management system is increased efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of staff work. Management of health services in the hospital consists of large areas of nursing services and nursing care management. The purpose of this study to determine the description of direct nursing activities (direct care) in the ICU RSUD. Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. The type of this research is quantitative research with research method used is descriptive analytic. The population in this study were nurses who provide direct nursing care as many as 35 people in ICU RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. In this research, it was found that during the study there were 30 types of direct nursing activities conducted by nurses. The most time-consuming activity is delivering the patient for a 28.66-minute CT scan. Within one day the ICU nurses spend an average of 469.50 minutes (7.8 hours) to provide direct nursing services to patients. Depend on the average level of patient classification can be known that time for nurses to giving direct care for patient its normal (6-8 hours) and it takes 13 implementing nurses 1 head of space, 4 team leaders every day.
