Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth and populations to the provincial tax revenue in Indonesia in 2012-2016. The data used are economic growth, population and provincial tax revenue. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis method of panel data year 2012-2016 (33 provinces in Indonesia). The type of data used in this study is secondary data. The data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The results showed that populations have no significant effect on local tax revenues, while economic growth has a significant positive effect on provincial tax revenue in Indonesia in 2012-2016.
