Abstract

This study aimed to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of group B children in TK 02 Banjarharjo at 2017/2018 academic year through index card match strategy. Subjects in the study were group B participants in TK 02 Banjarharjo at 2017/2018academic year. This type of research wasa classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles with four meetings. Research procedures in each cycle there were several stages i.e. planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.Thedata were collected using observation, interview, and documentation, on field notes. Data validity used triangulation of data by searching data from various data sources. Based on the results of research data conducted on cycle I and cycle II shows the development of cognitive learning outcomes of children group B TK 02 Banjarharjo the academic year of 2017/2018. This could be seen from the pre cycle obtained children's results reached 50.8%, the first cycle of 72.7%, and the second cycle of 83.2%. The conclusion from the result of this research that through index card match strategy can improve learning result of children of group B TK 02 the academic year of 2017/2018.
