Abstract

The number of customer who come every one to make a millng machine UKM Penggilingan Bakso produce continously for about 6 hours. The demand for meatballs is creasing, making UKM entrepreneurs have to do the production process quickly. This makes the production process using high engine speed. Due to the high engine speed, can be identified the point of danger among some of these processes that can cause the risk of work accidents that will be experienced by customers and workers. In the process of identifying and analyzing the potential hazard, it can be done by using Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) method. After doing the data processing, the results of evaluation of work environment in UKM Penggilingan Bakso there are 4 types of occuptional risk level that is 1 extreme risk, 7 high risk, 1 medium risk,and 5 low risk. Basedon the highest level of risk, extreme risk and high risk, priorities for improvement proposals are made to create secure employment for workers and customers.
