Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) describing the pattern of serial verb formers contained in the text of the Qur'an translation, (2) describing the interrelations between of seial verbs contained in the text of the Qur'an translation. This research is included in qualitative research and on data collection using the method refer and note. Method of analysis in this research is distribution method with insertion technique and turning technique. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The serial verb forming pattern of in the text of the Qur'an translation (a) V1 transitive+V2 transitive, (b) V1 transitive+V2 nontransitive, (c) V1 nontransitive+V2 transitive, and (d) V1 nontransitive+V2 nontransitive. (2) The relation of serial verbs in serial verbs of the Qur'anic translation text is (a) the relation describing the cause, (b) the relation describing the cause, (c) the relation explaining the sequence of time, (e) the relation describing the complement, and (f) the relation explaining the addition.
