Abstract

Development programs in Indonesia have brought rapid progress in all areas of life such as industry, services, property, mining, transportation, and other sectors but behind it all there is a price to pay for negative impacts such as work accidents that can result in thousands of injuries every year. In the production process conducted in Blok G area are all done using machines and heavy equipment that have a source of danger to workers, with this researcher want to implement risk management with JSA method as work accident prevention. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of JSA in PT. Inti Ganda Perdana Karawang has committed in implementing risk management with JSA method. This research method using Descriptive Observasional.Research sample of all workers in Blok G area. Data analysis begins with determining the work to be analyzed, describing the work to be the basic step, the analysis of the results with observational method, the result analysis with observational method using JSA form, respondent characteristics based on the questionnaire, and evaluation of availability and conformity of control means. The results showed that high risk work types in Blok G area were part fall, eye irritation, and deafness. The control alternatives that need to be applied are engineering, administration and use of personal protective equipment.
