Abstract

Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil is a financial institution with sharia principles. BMT has several products both financing and savings. One of the products of BMT deposit is muḍārabah deposit. Members save danaya in BMT and entrust fully to the savings funds to be managed by BMT in the hope of getting a profit share. Revenue earned by BMT in throwing muḍārabah deposit funds will be divided according to the agreement of ratio between the members and BMT. This research is to test for: 1. Knowing about profit sharing system done by BMT Amanah Ummah Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. 2. To describe the application of profit sharing system in muḍārabah deposit in BMT Amanah Ummah Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This research is a qualitative research which is described with words or sentences separated by category to get conclusion. Data collection using interview with BMT Amanah Ummah University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The results showed: 1. Muḍārabah saving type of BMT Amanah Ummah member of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta is muḍārabah mutlaqah saving, that is, the member entrusts the full deposit to be managed by BMT. 2. BMT Amanah Ummah share the results of operating income to members sesuei with the accuracy ratio and calculated by revenue sharing method. 3. Factors that affect the distribution of muḍārabah savings in BMT Amanah Ummah Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta Is the operating income obtained in soliciting fund members.
