Abstract

Lasem, a sub-district located in the coastal district of Rembang has been recently heralded as Heritage City because of its many heritage sites and the distinctive culture that has long been attached to the city of Lasem. Lasem district is well known as a recognized batik center at national and international level. The existence of Lasem batik has become the center of government and private attention. The existence of Lasik Batik is currently the livelihood of some residents, including Babagan Village. Although Babagan Village has become a tourist village of batik, but the name must be maintained. The previous village of Babagan batik village tourism is not planned in such a way as the planning of a program. The construction of batikvillage of Babagan village runs just like that. This is then a unique uniqueness of the existing tourist village batik Babagan Village. A definite beginning in Babagan Village there is a development activity that comes from the community in producing batik with typical batik tulisnya. Until now, the organization especially managing batik activities in Babagan Village has not been well organized. Therefore it is necessary a planning arrangement of batik tourism village in Babagan Village with the development in various fields. The development and realization of this area is planned to have the main function of the function of recreation and education with supporting facilities that have the function of marketing. Introducing the history, development and variety of Lasem batik is the main element that is raised in the design of this kampagan pecinan Babagan Lasem village. With the design offered, it is expected to materialize a cultural attraction that can be enjoyed and appreciated by tourists and the wider community.
