Abstract

The high population density is in line with the increase in public consumption. This resulted in increased waste or waste produced while the land to accommodate the rest of the limited consumption. The problem is increasing because of the many garbage that can not decompose, such as plastic waste. The existence of plastic bags in nature that do not decompose can be a threat to life and ecosystems. Sragen regency is a regency located in Central Java Province which has problems of garbage accumulation in some places of disposal. This garbage accumulation arises because the Environment Agency (BLH) lacks garbage trucks. Therefore, the authors have the initiative to design a waste processing center that will be used as a center of tourism, education, industry and research. The Wastewater Treatment Center is expected to reduce the presence of waste in Sragen regency, to accommodate the creativity to accommodate all activities related to waste recycling, and to create new job opportunities to reduce unemployment in Sragen regency.
