Abstract

ABSTRACT The market is a place of sellers and buyers in transactions of buying and selling. There are two types of markets that have been known to the public that is Traditional Market and Modern Market. Wonogiri City’s Traditional Market is the largest traditional market in Wonogiri which is the economic center of the people of Wonogiri. Accessibility facilities in this market are not complete. The serious problem of this market is that not optimal function of the 3rd floor of the market for market activity. The condition of the market at 1st floor and 2nd floor are dark and minimal lighting is also a problem. Therefore, need for improvement or redesign this market in order to solve these problems. Redesign of Wonogiri City’s Traditional Market will have the concept of modern market with Islamic basic to be able to compete with other modern markets.
