Abstract

Satu Meja Discourse on Kompas TV contains dialogs or conversations that discuss about current or ongoing political issues. The host will present some speeches that will be responded by the political figures present. Political conversations will contain many implicatures. Researchers are interested to examine the implicatur of political conversation that is on the discourse of Satu Meja as a TV show. This study has three purposes. 1) Describing the forms of speech conversations containing implicatures in the discourse of Satu Meja in Kompas TV. 2) Describing the function of the implicature of political conversation on the discourse of Satu Meja in Kompas TV. 3) Describe the strategy of disclosing the implicatur of political conversation on Satu Meja Discourse on Kompas TV. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative. Research data in the form of political conversation implicature on the discourse of Satu Meja in Kompas TV. The source of this research data is the discourse of Satu Meja in Kompas TV that the theme "Corruption For Pilkada". Technique of collecting data is using reading technique and document technique. Data analysis techniques use triangulation theory, triangulation of investigators and using reference materials. Analysis of research data using the method of matching with the basic technique of the decisive element (PUP). There are three things as the result of this research. There were 30 data of speech acts containing the implicatures contained in political conversation discourse Satu Meja in Kompas TV. There are 17 assertive form data, 7 directive form data, 2 commissive form data, and 4 expressive data. In this research found 10 implicatur function that is rejection function, suggestion function, reminder function, self defense function, credibility indicator function, critic function, command function, prohibition function, support function, and satire function. The most widely used implicature discourse strategy in political conversation in the Satu Meja discourse on Kompas TV is using a literal, direct strategy.
